菲利普．狄克（Philip K. Dick，PKD，1928.12.16 - 1982.3.2），美國科幻小說家，廣場恐懼症與毒癮患者。生前作品大多發表於廉價雜誌，而被視為 pulp fiction 作家，雖多次被提名星雲獎（Nebula Award）、也曾獲得雨果獎（Hugo Award）肯定，直至病歿卻始終抑鬱不得志。隨著時間推移，他小說中關於「時間、記憶、身份認同」等主題，以及「模擬、複製、平行宇宙」等觀念，逐漸被人們熟知與接受，（於上個世紀末）被推許為賽博朋克（Cyberpunk）創作先驅與後現代主義（Postmodernism）文學大師。




沃蒂克．休德馬克（Wojciech Kazimierz Siudmak，Wojtek Siudmak，1942.10.10 -），波蘭藝術家，作品深受 Salvador Dalí、René Magritte、Paul Delvaux 等超現實主義大師的影響；與物件結合、移位變形的肢體，仿似探索生命源起、宇宙盡頭的情境，Siudmak 以充滿隱喻象徵的畫面呈現出（游走現實與臆想之間）一種違反邏輯、神秘怪誕的超現實美學。他充滿玄思妙想的構圖，成為奇幻文學及科幻小說名家吸睛的書籍封面。




這裡整理了近年發行（由 Wojtek Siudmak 繪製）波蘭版 PKD 系列小說與有聲書的全部書籍封面。事實上，早在八○年代法文版 PDK 口袋書系小說，就曾經使用過 Siudmak 的畫作為書封，只是年代久遠，已經很難搜羅齊全了。

本名 Joseph Rudolf Nappi 的 Rudy Nappi (1923 - 2015) 為上個世紀50-70年代活躍於美國出版界的插畫家（1953-1979），他的作品曾大量出現在報刊、雜誌、以及通俗小說（羅曼史小說、成人犯罪小說、青少年冒險小說）的書封上頭。

Rudy Nappi 的作品非常接近早年手繪電影海報or放映廳外電影看板的色彩質感與筆觸張力；他以接近寫實的手法，描繪年輕人的穿著打扮與互動關係，很能反映當時社會的現實狀況，如今成為了紀錄時代生活的符碼象徵。

隨著上個世紀末，整個流行樂界吹起的復古懷舊風潮，Rudy Nappi 的數百幅作品被改作、引用，陸續成為許多唱片專輯or選集的封面圖像，你可能看過他的作品、但你卻從來沒有意識到。

這裡先以一幀能見度頗高的代表作為例，我把搜羅到的所有資料整理如下，同時將發行廠牌註記在後方（最後還有附上幾本書封），留作紀錄存查。

本名 Antoinette Frissell Bacon 的 Toni Frissell，為美國上個世紀五、六○年代知名的攝影師，以二戰照片、時裝攝影，以及人物肖像、生活寫真聞名於世。

作為最早在體育雜誌／運動畫報發表作品的女性時尚寫真先驅，她是首位提出時裝模特兒走出工作室，在戶外自然光影下展現人物真實樣貌的攝影師。

1947年，Toni Frissell 為美國佛羅里達州新開幕的旅遊聖地威基沃奇溫泉所拍攝的宣傳照片《Weeki Wachee Spring, Florida (1947)》，正是她一貫主張的完美呈現，這幅作品如今已是Toni Frissell鮮明標誌的代表象徵。
